A day before Sunday May 10th 2015 Me,aakash and mandar decided to visit Vasai fort so i woke up next day early morning at 6 am & called aakash - he was up by my call but mandar was still not picking up the call,i tried calling him many times but no answer probably because of two reason 1.He visited Vasai fort many times before 2.He came in to mumbai from Nashik for 2-3 days only.
Me and Aakash boarded the train from andheri station at 7:30 am to vasai,we both got the seats and i was kind of feeling sleeping however i was excited to see vasai fort.Train reached vasai station at 8:35 am,Without wasting our time we went up to Vasai ST Bus Depot to Enquire about the bus timing and availability, turned out to be that ST bus don't go to Vasai fort anymore,' by hearing this we were little shocked .After little more enquiry we got to know that there is a bus outside depot on the road which will take you there.
We saw the bus outside depot,it was like a shuttle bus so we confirmed with the bus driver whether it will go to vasai fort or nah? he said ''Yes''.We asked conductor about the ticket price he said 26 Rs for two person so we took out 30 Rs to give him instead he told us to ''give 20 Rs as he had no change''.The road out here was narrow and quite good compare to most of the mumbai roads. After halting at vasai fort at 9:10 am which is a last stop,we realised conductor never took remaining 6 Rs from us at the same time he never gave us a ticket which means he played us by keeping 20 Rs in his own pocket I.e Black money.

Vasai fort Entrance |
This place looked perfect for film shooting as ruins got very ancientic feel to it,good thing was- there was no garbage around here,it looked very well maintained.

Fort windows |
There were sun-rays passing through fort windows which was really adding a flavour to fort beauty.I even saw some kids near fort throwing stones at the trees to get raw mangoes.
|
Creepy wall |
My illusion about above pic is Devil on top of the wall holding it with his hand,As this fort is haunted during night time according to some people, however i don't believe in all this unrealistic and invisible stuffs.

Ruins of the fort |

Old Tadi Pot |
I Saw some old pots near fort which i think is used to collect Neera from palm tree which later turns in to Tadi I.e Palm wine. There is no tax, marketing,Manufacturing expense and branding involved,so villagers earn decent amount of money from it.
|
Mini Tunnel |
There was a mini tunnel on the ground maybe it was made to avoid flooding during rain or to collect water.
The road out here will remind you of Goa.I would say these kind of places should be preferable to visit in or around Mumbai during summer season rather than trekking spot.

Outside Church |
|
Inside Church |
It was a abandoned church with no cross,Jesus idol and Roof.We took a right from the church, there was a big field where some women's were washing clothes with the help of well water and there were also some palm trees around.
