Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru garden and Sion fort (unconquered).

2months back Atul and anurag wanted some peace spot to hang around so i told them about sion fort which they were not aware about, after minutes of talking we all agreed to go tomorrow.

I woke up at 6am so was atul but anurag number was showing switched off! now me and atul thought today it would not be possible to hang around thinking that guy did it purposely because of laziness but after 1hour i got call from anurag telling me he would be near my building by 7:30am.We all gathered near my building.By the time we took rickshaw from apnabazar to andheri station it was already 8am after reaching there we took a train from andheri station to dadar station and from dadar to sion station.
Once we reached sion station we were confused where it was! so i checked my map and started following it.It was on the east side just 10min walk from sion station.

Sion fort is situated on top of Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru Garden  It was built by the British Governor of Bombay Gerard Aungie.
After reaching  Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru Garden  which i would say is the real definition of garden blessed with greenery, peace, butterfly, squirrel, chameleon,'wasting  no time we started our photo session.

Atul and me

Early morning sunshine.

Perfect snap

We went further there was tapwater facility incase if you wannna wash your hand or face.I saw some people practicing karate moves neither i was suprised looking at the place beacause there were barely any people but yeah at every corner i got glimpse of squirrel they were quick enough to move from one place to another,on right side there was a small maze structure like thing. One can also see huge non-functioning industrial complex.

We headed up towards fort, now we started to feel breeze in this june heat and one can view the whole  town from here but unfortunately guard got eye on us telling the fort was closed.According to my research on internet, fort visting hour is from 7am to 12am but according to guard it was 7am to 11am,God knws what's up with that? maybe internet information was not accurate! Remember one can visit the fort between 5pm to 8pm,it gets reopened.
Now we headed downwards as we were hungry,on our way i saw some students studying in the garden and on the other side some street guys exercising hiphop moves. At that time i wished 'what if this peace place would have been near my college?' but at the same time i was like its better - its not here! because some or the other way college students will turn this to liqour, smoking, lovers or garbage point.
Once we got out we were searching out for restaurant,'all we could find was a small local food point near garden.Me,anurag got veg thali with maaza and atul got himself bhaji plate. After eating we were like how we gonna kill time in this heat? Atul told us about phoenix mall in kurla, wasting no time we took a bus to kurla.Once getting there it was just a walk on one of the biggest concrete jungle in asia 'In other words - I HATE MALLS'.We went to naturals(Ice cream centre) and got ourself ice-cream.

'Time to roll towards home' we took a rickshaw to kurla station from there train to dadar station then to andheri station,In the train i realized i left my shades somewhere back in the garden or phoniex mall! I was home till 3am.
